Buchan Parks Douster Lake
Douster lake is an established estate lake with depths from 3' to 16'. The lake contains roach, rudd, perch, bream, sunfish, carp, pike, tench and crucian carp.
The bream fishing can be excellent with 100lb plus bags reported this year. The biggest reported bream this year weighed over 6lb but there are bigger bream in there.
The carp fishing is not easy but fish up to 30lb have been caught with several 20lb plus mirrors as well as a few double figure commons.

Cuckfield Fishery
Cuckfield Fishery has three fair sized ponds which are surrounded on two sides by gorse bushes and trees. It is a very quiet spot aside from the odd crack of golf ball hitting the trees.
Fishermen are most likely to find little gudgeon, roach, carp and tench but with bigger hooks and bait you can end up catching 20/30 6oz-1lb carp on primarily worm and luncheon meat.

Silverdale was formed in 1995 by damming one of the springs that feed the main lake, it is 2.5 metres deep in the middle and is used as a breeding pond for our Carp, the pond also has a good stock of Golden Rudd up to a lb and a few Tench.
